In accordance with a method of accessing fluids from an oil or gas bearing formation penetrated by a well there is provided including a tubing spool that sits above the tubing hanger and which has a side entry port that allows entry into the annulus between the tubing and rod string. The side entry port allows a small diameter tubing unit to run its tubing string in the annulus space between the production tubing string and the rod string.
