Abstract of the Disclosure. A tubular die for extrusion and more particularly a blow head for the production of tubular film of thermoplastic resin, consisting of an inner ring or core and an outer ring, between which an annular die passage is defined. In order to heat and possibly cool sections of such a tubular die in a simple manner, at least one of the said rings (1 and 2) of the tubular die is subdivided into a plurality of temperature controlling sectors, which are provided with holes (4) or other forms of recesses, in which electrical heating cartridges (5) are mounted (figure 1).
