An improved mounting arrangement is provided for supporting a tubular lamp, particularly such as a lamp used in fluid treatment processes, within a protective jacket such as a transparent sleeve of quartz glass or the like. The protective jacket is mounted by a compression nut to a threaded socket adapted for slide-fit reception of the lamp through the socket and into the protective jacket. The lamp comprises an elongated tubular glass lamp body having distal and proximal ends thereof supported by distal and proximal end caps each including spacers for centering the lamp body in spaced relation to the protective jacket. The proximal end cap comprises a lamp base with conductive terminal pins for connection to an electrical power source, and further includes outwardly projecting lock tabs for engagement, preferably with a quarter-turn rotation, with the compression nut to releasably lock the lamp in position. A terminal connector is provided for coupling the terminal pins to a power source, and is removably retained in place by a retainer cap mounted onto the compression nut.
L'invention a trait à un dispositif amélioré de montage pour lampe tubulaire, notamment une lampe utilisée pour le traitement de fluides, laquelle lampe est placée à l'intérieur d'une enveloppe de protection, une gaine transparente en verre de quartz, par exemple, ou analogue. L'enveloppe de protection est montée à l'aide d'un écrou à compression sur une douille moletée conçue pour recevoir, par accouplement par glissement, la lampe à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe. La lampe comporte un corps tubulaire de forme allongée dont les extrémités, distale et proximale, sont tenues par des capuchons, distal et proximal, respectivement, pourvus, chacun, d'espaceurs permettant de centrer la lampe par rapport à l'enveloppe de protection. Le capuchon proximal, qui comporte un culot pourvu de broches-bornes pour connexion à une alimentation électrique, est également pourvu de tenons faisant saillie vers l'extérieur pour emboîtement, de préférence par quart de tour, dans l'écrou à compression, ce qui permet de verrouiller la lampe mais sans la fixer à demeure. Une borne permettant le raccordement des broches-bornes à une source d'énergie est maintenue en place, mais sans être fixée à demeure, au moyen d'un capuchon de tenue monté sur l'écrou à compression.
