A tubular lockset according to the present invention mainly comprises a lock case, two assembling plates, an actuating wheel, a fixing plate and a moving shell. The lock case contains a dead bolt therein and has a slot at its bottom for a pulling plate to extend therethrough. The pulling plate comprises two pairs of up-right protrusions for meshing with the teeth of the actuating wheel so as to provide mutual movement. The assembling plates include two plates, wherein each assembling plate has two round holes and an elliptical hole. The elliptical hole is used for restricting the actuating wheel to move in a linear direction. A fixing plate has a hole for the insertion of the actuating wheel. The moving shell is provided with two holes for the round circumference of the actuating wheel to go in and to revolve therein.
