This invention relates to a tubular prosthesis comprising a substantially tubular basic body made of material expandable in at least the radial direction, which has been provided with at least one ridge extending around the prosthesis made of extensible and curable material. In addition the ridge may comprise reinforcing fibres extending in the longitudinal direction of the ridge.
