ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A non-medical method is provided for detecting and localizing a tumor which produces or is associated with a cyloplasmic, intracellular or cell-surface marker substance. It involves parenterally injecting a marker-specific radiolabeled antibody or fragment, and then scanning with a photoscanning device. By these steps, the location of the site or sites of uptake of the labeled antibody or fragment by the tumor is determined.
