Disclosed is a tundish car comprising a lifting mechanism (1) for a tundish (2) used for liquid steel materials, especially in a multistrand continuous casting plant. The tundish (2) is supported on a traveling frame (7) such that the same can be raised and lowered by means of controlled electromechanical or hydraulic lifting mechanisms (1a, 1b). In order to dispense with the need for a quadruple arrangement of piston-cylinder drives and a complicated synchronization control while ensuring safety for personnel and simplifying the design, a single lifting support (9) and only two lifting mechanisms (1a, 1b) are provided.

L'invention concerne un chariot doté d'un dispositif de levage (1) pour un canal de distribution (2) de matériaux en acier liquide, notamment dans une installation de coulée à plusieurs lignes, le canal de distribution (2) étant supporté par un cadre mobile (7) sur lequel il peut être relevé et abaissé au moyen d'appareils de levage (1a, 1b) électromécaniques ou hydrauliques asservis. L'invention vise à créer un chariot qui évite une configuration multiple d'entraînements/cylindres/pistons et une régulation de synchronisme compliquée tout en assurant la sécurité du personnel et en simplifiant notablement la conception.
