Abstract A superheterodyne receiver having a plurality of selectable bands includes a tuning voltage source and a band selection signal source. To improve tracking, the receiver includes a selectively enabled voltage modifying arrangement responsive to the band selection signal for providing a modified tuning voltage to one of the radio frequency and local oscillator tuning circuits when the tuning voltage is within a predetermined portion of its range.
