Equipment (60) for surface transmission of infrared radiation, comprising a thermally insulated wall (62) forming a tunnel (63), in addition to a plurality of individual surface transmission devices (1) disposed in relation to and inside said thermally insulated wall (62), characterized in that, in a combined state, each surface transmission device (1) comprises a housing (21) which is disposed in the thermally insulated wall (62) whereby a window (22) is fitted inside said housing opposite the downstream face (30) of the wall (3) for catalytic combustion; in addition to a plurality of transparent panes (23) which are made from a ceramic material and arranged in such a way as to respectively provide for a plurality of evacuation circuits (24) for burnt gas (25) in conjunction with the various catalytic combustion furnaces (2); the thermally insulated wall (62) is comprised of a secondary surface transmission metal sheet (64) which undergoes direct heat exchange with the tunnel (63) and forms a flat circulation duct (65) for the burnt gas (25) with the rest of the wall (62).
