ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The tunnelling apparatus uses a rotatable, tiltable boom in combination with a debris removing conveyor for providing an efficient, low profile digging apparatus suitable for mining or other tunnelling applications. The boom is mounted to an elevated tilting table and the conveyor utilizes the space below the table for transporting debris from adjacent the front of the machine to the rear thereof.
