A method of repairing a turbine blade in which damaged material around a lacing wire hole is removed by machining or chemical etching. New metal is then added by welding such that the lacing wire hole is much smaller or completely eliminated and prior to re-forming the lacing wire hole, flats may be formed either by the addition or removal of metal in the region of the lacing wine hole so that a lacing wire hole forming drill or machine bit can enter the turbine blade at a surface substantially normal to its direction of travel, thereby minimising any tendency of the lacing wire hole forming drill or machine bit to snatch or for the blade to vibrate.
Un procédé de réparation d'une aube de turbine consiste à enlever, par usinage ou chimiquement, le matériau de l'aube endommagé autour d'un trou de fil de laçage. On ajoute ensuite du métal neuf en le soudant de telle sorte que le trou du fil de laçage soit plus petit ou soit totalement supprimé, puis, avant que de former à nouveau ce trou, on peut former des surfaces planes soit en ajoutant, soit en retirant du métal dans la zone du trou du fil de laçage de telle manière qu'un foret ou un trépan utilisé pour faire un trou de fil de laçage puisse pénétrer dans la lame de la turbine sur une surface sensiblement perpendiculaire à son sens de déplacement, minimisant ainsi toute tendance du foret ou du trépan à riper ou de l'aube à vibrer.
