There is provided a turbine for a hydroelectric power installation. The turbine has a rotor with a plurality of blades, with the rotor being arranged in front of a guide apparatus (in the flow direction). The pitch angle of the blades of the rotor is adapted to be variable. As the rotor is arranged in front of the guide apparatus (in the flow direction) the flow meets the rotor first and only thereafter meets the guide apparatus, thus affording optimum flow conditions for the rotor.

L'invention concerne une turbine destinée à une centrale hydroélectrique et comprenant une roue mobile munie d'une pluralité d'aubes et placée en amont (en sens d'écoulement) d'un appareil directeur. L'angle d'attaque des aubes de la roue mobile est conçu de manière à pouvoir être réglé. Comme la roue mobile est placée en amont (en sens d'écoulement) de l'appareil directeur, l'écoulement frappe d'abord la roue mobile puis, seulement après, l'appareil directeur, de sorte que les conditions d'écoulement sont optimales pour la roue mobile.
