"TURBINE ROTORS" ABSTRACT A turbine rotor has a shaft, sleeves and rotor discs. The sleeves are an interference fit on the shaft and are keyed thereto by keys accommodated in respective keyways in the sleeves and the shaft. The discs are interference fits with their respective sleeves and each have an integral dog extending into the central aperture of the disc. Each dog is accommodated in a slot in the end of the sleeve on which the disc is mounted, is radially spaced from the shaft; and is circumferentially spaced from the keyways. The rotor can be either a repaired rotor or a new rotor. - 1 -
