In order to enhance the engine performance, the turbo charge is employed on a steady larger scale, for gasoline and diesel engines as well. But the price paid for he advantages provided by this technical solution is what in literature is named "the turbo death". The turbo engines are subject to considerable thermal strain. When the engine is switched off shortly after been exercised at high power levels, the extreme temperature in the turbine leads to fast wear rates and shortens the life of the turbo charger, especially by affecting its bearings. This is "the turbo death." Because, in most cases, through the engine and turbo charger runs same oil, the high temperature can incur damages at the engine as well, though at a much lower rate. The device which makes the object of this invention protects both the engine and the turbo charger. Same kind of damages, though at a much smaller rate may occur when the engine swiftly turns from high to low power levels. This invention prevents "the turbo death" by protecting the turbo charger against the high temperature, thus extending its life to at least the life span of the engine itself, offering, in the same time, additional protection for the engine. The device that is the object of this invention employs a pump, an oil radiator, a fan, sensors, and a controller and is driven by software. This invention can be built at different levels of complexity, which will be described in the subsequent sections.
