A B S T R A C T The present invention is concerned with turbochargers for internal combustion engines and in particular provides a combination of a turbocharger for an internal combustion engine, and a fluidic valve, said fluidic valve being located and arranged such that, in operation the amount of operating gas(e.g. exhaust gas) reaching the turbine wheel may be varied in dependance upon a selected parameter e.g. the exhaust gas pressure.
