Cooling and heating mechanisms are associated with a restricted peripheral zone in a turbomachine stator in such way that a peripherally irregular distribution of temperatures results in a deformation of the stator which mirrors the rotor deformations during various phases of the use of the turbomachine. The longitudinal axes (R,5) of the stator and rotor are thus coincident.
