ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A turf perforating device is provided for aerating lawns by removing plugs therefrom. The device comprises a wheeled frame having a plurality of reciprocating tools connected by a linkage to a crankshaft. Each linkage is slidably mounted in a pivotable sleeve which substan- tially prevents binding of the linkage as the frame is moved across the lawn and the tool is disposed in the ground. Thus, a turf perforator device is provided that plugs the turf, is light in weight, is economical to manufacture and is extremely effective.
