This invention pertains to a novel two-component oil well swab which is useful for cleaning and swabbing the interior of oil well pipes. A two-component oil well swab comprising: (a) an interior tubular component having groups of circumferential ribs formed around the exterior surface thereof in series; (b) an exterior component moulded over the exterior of the internal component, the exterior component having formed along the exterior length thereof an alternat-ing series of broad exterior ribs and angled narrow exterior ribs, with grooves formed between the broad and angled narrow exterior ribs.
