ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to two-component polyurethane adhesive preparations in which the resin component is an oleochemical polyol. The oleochemical polyols used are ring-opened products of the reaction of epoxidized fatty alcohols, fatty acid esters (particularly triglycerides) or fatty acid amides with alcohols. The oleochemical polyols may be varied within wide limits in regard to their OH-functionality and so formulated with the hardener polyisocyanate components that the adhesives satisfy the relevant requirements, Reaction products of epoxidized triglycerides with monohydric alcohols are a particularly effective substitute for castor oil.
