A method whereby a pharmacological effect of a drug administered to a living body having an overgrowing tissue or cells (malignant tumor, etc.) can be visualized at an early stage so that screening of a candidate compound for a new drug or an adequate method of using a remedy can be established within a short time. A method whereby an overgrowing tissue or cells in a living body can be distinguished from tissues or cells under normal growth and quantified by obtaining a two-dimensional image with the use of [2-14C]thymidine and/or [1,3-N]fluorescent thymidine as an indication. Based on this method, a candidate for a new drug is screened, a method of adequately using a remedy is established, the optimum dosage or the lethal effect of a strong energy particle ray is judged, and the organ-specific drug effect of a drug is estimated.

L'invention concerne un procédé selon lequel l'effet pharmaceutique d'un médicament administré à un corps vivant ayant une excroissance tissulaire ou cellulaire (tumeur maligne, etc.) est visualisé à un stade précoce, de sorte que le criblage d'un éventuel composé destiné à un nouveau médicament ou bien une méthode adaptée d'utilisation d'un médicament sont établis dans un bref délai. La présente invention porte également sur un procédé qui permet de faire la distinction, dans un corps vivant, entre des excroissances tissulaires ou cellulaires et des tissus ou des cellules à croissance normale, et de quantifier ces excroissances au moyen d'une image à deux dimensions obtenue grâce à l'utilisation de [2-?14¿C] thymidine et/ou de [1,3-N] thymidine fluorescente comme marquage. Sur la base de ce procédé, un éventuel composé destiné à un nouveau médicament est criblé, une méthode d'utilisation adéquate d'un médicament est établie, le dosage optimum ou l'effet létal d'un fort rayonnement corpusculaire énergétique est évalué, ainsi que l'effet d'un médicament spécifiquement sur un organe donné.
