A two-pass in-tank heat exchanger for transfer of thermal energy to or from fluid within a fluid reservoir tank of a vehicle or other stationary machinery includes inlet and outlet ports for ingress and egress of heating fluid, a plurality of conduits and housing for directing heating fluid within a reservoir tank, a formed baffle for partitioning the fluid, and a flange with which to readily mount the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is constructed and disposed to be readily mountedwithin an array of fluid reservoir tanks. The conduits are preferably affixed to the frame of the heat exchanger by a process of fusion and filler welding.
Cette invention concerne un échangeur de chaleur à deux parcours en réservoir servant au réchauffement du liquide contenu dans le réservoir d'un véhicule ou d'une machine stationnaire, ledit échangeur ayant des ouvertures d'admission et de sortie du fluide de chauffage, une série de canalisations destinées à diriger le fluide de chauffage à l'intérieur du réservoir, une chicane de répartition du fluide et une bride de montage facilitant sa mise en place. L'objet de l'invention est construit et aménagé de manière à pouvoir être monté à l'intérieur d'un groupement de réservoirs. De préférence, les canalisations susmentionnées sont fixées au bâti de l'échangeur selon un procédé de soudage par fusion avec baguette d'apport.
