A two-phase stainless steel wire rope with wires having chemical compositions of 0.1% or less of C, 1.0% or less of Si, 1.5% or less of Mn, 0.04% or less of P, 0.03% or less of S, 18.0 to 30.0% of Cr, 3.0 to 8.0% of Ni, 0.1 to 3.0% of Mo and the balance of Fe, and 30.0 to 80.0% of ferrite amount, which is controlled to have a mean slenderness ratio (M R value) of 4 to 20 by drawing with the reduction of cross-sectional area between 40 to 97%, and further subjected to aging treatment at the temperature between 150 and 600 deg. C. . This stainless steel wire rope offers a long life considerably superior in both fatigue life and corrosion resistance, thereby enabling it applicable for dynamic use.
Câble d'acier inoxydable biphasique constitué de fils renfermant 0,1 % ou moins de C, 1,0 % ou moins de Si, 1,5 % ou moins de Mn, 0,04 % ou moins de P, 0,03 % ou moins de S, 18,0 à 30,0 % de Cr, 3,0 à 8,0 % de Ni, 0,1 à 3,0 % de Mo et le reste en Fe, ainsi que 30,0 à 80,0 % de ferrite, pour un rapport d'effilement (valeur MR) moyen de 4 à 20 par étirage, avec une réduction de 40 à 97 % de l'aire de la section transversale; le câble est soumis à un traitement de vieillissement à une température se situant entre 150 et 600 degrés C. Ce câble d'acier a une durée de vie considérablement supérieure grâce à une plus grande résistance à la fatigue et à la corrosion, ce qui le rend utile pour des applications dynamiques.
