TWO POSITION VACUUM OPERATED THROTTLE KICKER Abstract A two position vacuum operated throttle positioner or kicker for automotive engines comprising a housing, a wall dividing the housing, a first diaphragm on one side of the wall thereby forming a chamber between one end of said housing and said first diaphragm to which a first vacuum inlet is connected and a second diaphragm adjacent the other side of the wall thereby providing a second vacuum chamber between wall and the diaphragm to which a second inlet is connected. The space between the second diaphragm and the wall is vented to the atmosphere. A first shaft is associated with the first diaphragm and extends between the diaphragms. A second shaft is adapted to be actuated by the second diaphragm and has an end extending exteriorly of the housing, and a spring yieldingly urges both diaphragms and shafts in- wardly of said housing. When the first diaphragm is moved by application of vacuum to the first inlet the shafts are moved to first position and when vacuum is applied to said second inlet the second shaft is moved to a second position. -i-
