In order to design a twin-roll machine, in particular a roller press, for comminuting a bed of granular material, comprising two rotatably mounted, counter-rotationally driven rolls separated from one another by a roll nip, in such a way that the roll change can be performed even more simply and more quickly, it is proposed according to the invention to mount an additional frame at the roller press front end adjacent to the fixed roll (10), specifically a lower frame (23) prolonging the two bracket lower flanges (15, 16) and a transverse frame (24) that is connected to the two bracket upper flanges (17, 18) and has a clear opening width which permits the complete rolls to be pushed through the transverse frame (24) onto the lower frame (23), and to construct the frame end pieces (19, 20) which support the fixed roll (10) during roller press operation such that they can be folded out hydraulically for the purpose of the roll change, whereby, with the machine frame end pieces folded out upwardly, the two rolls (10, 11) together with the bearing housings (12, 13) can be withdrawn successively from the roller press onto the lower frame (23), from where they can be removed conveniently, for example vertically, and transported further, in particular by means of a mobile crane, for example.

L'invention concerne une machine à deux cylindres, en particulier une presse à rouleaux pour le broyage d'un lit de matière en grains, cette machine comprenant deux cylindres rotatifs entraînés en sens inverse et séparés par un espace. L'objectif de l'invention est de concevoir une machine de ce type caractérisée en ce que le remplacement des cylindres peut être effectué avec une plus grande simplicité et une plus grande rapidité. A cet effet, un cadre additionnel est monté sur la presse à rouleaux à l'extrémité frontale adjacente au cylindre fixe (10), ce cadre se présentant sous la forme d'un cadre inférieur (23) prolongeant les deux semelles inférieures en console (15, 16) et d'un cadre transversal (24) relié aux deux semelles supérieures en console (17, 18). Ledit cadre transversal (24) présente un écartement permettant de pousser les cylindres entiers sur le cadre inférieur (23) à travers le cadre transversal (24). Par ailleurs, les pièces d'extrémité (19, 20) du cadre qui soutiennent le cylindre fixe (10) pendant le fonctionnement de la presse à rouleaux sont conçues de façon à pouvoir être repliées hydrauliquement pour le remplacement des cylindres de sorte que, lorsque ces pièces d'extrémité du cadre de la machine sont repliées vers le haut, les deux cylindres (10, 11) puissent être sortis successivement de la presse à rouleaux sur le cadre inférieur (23) avec les corps de palier (12, 13) pour pouvoir ensuite être facilement retirés, par exemple verticalement, et transportés, en particulier au moyen d'une grue mobile.
