ABSTRACT A two-stage valve adapted for use in downward flow in the fuel line of a vehicle to provide roll-over protection, comprising a housing having two ball check valves axially disposed to normally check upward flow, the lower ball being expansion-biased spring-loaded, the upper ball being loaded with an expansion-biased spring resting upon the lower ball, the lower ball being larger than the upper ball, and the upper spring having a lower spring force than the lower spring.
