A TWO-STEP METHOD FOR PREPARING CYCLIC UREAS (D#81,111-F) ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a two-step method for the preparation of cyclic urea products which comprises: heating a diamine with urea in a mole ratio of about l at a temperature from about 120°C to 140°C until a mole of ammonia is liberated and slowly heating the intermediate with an alcohol or polyether solvent to a temperature from about 160°C to 200°C to produce the cyclic urea products.
