As in security systems this two way security door plate manually operated known to grasp inside face of door. Mould to contour of edge of door passing between door and door frame. Follow contour of door frameand across of door frame face three quarters of distance to an anchor plate, mounted on face of frame with door closed. Turn knob of existing lock to extract door bolt. Slide security plate down to hook into anchor plate on outside face of frame. RElease door knob allowing bolt to pass through hole in security plate and into existing striker plate of frame. Security plate is now locked into position and cannot be removed until existing door lock is open to retract existing door bolt allowing security plate to be raised up cut of anchor plate and in turn allowing door to be opened. Remove moulded security plate. Set aside until needed again. This procedure can be used when leaving your home unattended or when at home. Security plate can be put into place from inside of home as well as from outside for added security when sleeping at night etc. A child could put this security plate in place when needed.
