ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a two-wire full duplex data transmission system in each station the transmitter is connected between one line and earth and a measuring device of the receiver is connected to the other line and via a balancing resistor to the trans- mitter to produce current difference measuring signals from received data. The transmitter preferably includes two voltage sources of equal magnitude and opposite polarity, one connected between earth and the balancing resistor and the other connected between earth and said one line.
