ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A typewriter misprint correction method and apparatus by which a misprint is erased when ink is lifted from paper by an erasing impression through a correction tape. The erasing impression is conducted two or more times for each character and a prescribed length of correction tape is fed after at least one of the erasing impressions on each character.
