The invention concerns a tyre or a running tread incorporating an elastomeric composition with improved vulcanization kinetics, based on at least a diene elastomer, a reinforcing inorganic filler and, as coupling agent (inorganic filler/elastomer), a bis-alkoxysilane tetrasulphide of formula (I) wherein: the symbols R¿1?, identical or different, represent each a monovalent hydrocarbon group selected among alkyls, linear or branched, having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R¿2? and R¿3?, identical or different, represent each a monovalent hydrocarbon group selected among alkyls, linear or branched, having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and the phenyl radical; x is an integer or a fraction number between 3 and 5.
