The invention concerns a tyre having at least a bead seat inclined outwards and a radial carcass reinforcement (1) wound in said bead around a bead core (2) starting from the rim to the tip of the bead B to form a turn-up (10) whereof the edge, viewed in meridian cross-section, is located on the radially outer surface (31) of an extruded profile (3) of rubber mixture, axially and externally adjacent to the bead core (2), and having, viewed in meridian cross-section, a water drop shape with an apex A located beneath the bead core (2) section, and a Shore A hardness greater than the Shore A hardness value(s) of the rubber mixtures (6, 7) located axially and radially above the bead core-extruded profile assembly. The invention is characterised in that the carcass reinforcement turn-up (10) is extended by a reinforcing frame (11) enclosing said profiled section (3), the turn-up (10) of the carcass reinforcement (1) and said reinforcing frame (11) overlapping over an axial distance 1 not less than the axial half-width of the bead seat (420), and the radial distance between the reinforcing elements respectively of the two reinforcements (10) and (11) being not less than 0.6 mm.

Pneumatique ayant au moins un siège de bourrelet incliné vers l'extérieur et une armature de carcasse radiale (1) enroulée dans ledit bourrelet autour d'une tringle (2) en allant du talon à la pointe du bourrelet B pour former un retournement (10) dont le bord, vu en section méridienne, est localisé sur la face radialement extérieure (31) d'un profilé (3) de mélange caoutchouteux, axialement et extérieurement adjacent à la tringle (2), et ayant, vu en section méridienne, une forme de goutte d'eau avec un sommet A situé sous la section de la tringle (2), et une dureté Shore A supérieure à la (aux) dureté(s) Shore A des mélanges caoutchouteux (6, 7) situés axialement et radialement au dessus de l'ensemble tringle-profilé, caractérisé en ce que le retournement (10) d'armature de carcasse est prolongé par une armature de renforcement (11) qui entoure ledit profilé (3), le retournement (10) d'armature de carcasse (1) et ladite armature de renforcement (11) se chevauchant sur une distance axiale 1 au moins égale à la demi-largeur axiale du siège radiale entre éléments de renforcement respectivement des deux armatures (10) et (11) étant au moins égale à 0,6 mm.
