ABSTRACT The specification relates to a tyre chain comprising supporting members which are disposed on the tread surface of the tyre and which are held by a retaining network comprising lateral strands and transversely extending network parts, the latter being passed through apertures in the supporting members for the purpose of securely joining the supporting members to the retaining network and, between the passage apertures, extending over the outer side, facing the roadway, of the supporting members.
