Tyre (10) for driving on ice, comprising: a tread (20) having a rolling surface configured to come into contact with the ground when the tyre is rolling along; at least one stud (30) having a longitudinal axis (A-A), a part of the stud projecting from the rolling surface, the intersection between the stud and the plane tangential to the portion of the rolling surface around the stud forming a contour C, that part of the stud that projects from the rolling surface having a minimum cross section Sm, Sm corresponding to the smallest cross section of the said part in any plane containing the radial direction that passes through the point of intersection between the longitudinal axis of the stud and the plane tangential to the portion of the rolling surface around the stud; at least one recess (200) in the tread forming, on the rolling surface, a contour G, the recess being associated with the stud in that the minimum distance D between the contours C and G is less than or equal to 1 cm; in which, for each stud, the sum of the volumes Vn of the recesses associated with the stud, expressed in mm3, is greater than or equal to the product of the minimum cross section Sm of that part of the stud that projects from the tread, expressed in mm2, multiplied by a length of 50 mm.
La présente invention porte sur un pneumatique (10) conçu pour la conduite sur la glace, ledit pneumatique comprenant: une bande de roulement (20) comportant une surface de roulement conçue pour venir en contact avec le sol lorsque le pneumatique roule sur ledit sol; au moins un crampon (30) ayant un axe longitudinal (A-A) et une partie qui se projette depuis la surface de roulement, l'intersection entre le crampon et le plan tangentiel à la partie de la surface de roulement se trouvant autour du crampon formant un contour C, cette partie du crampon qui se projette depuis la surface de roulement ayant une section transversale minimum Sm, Sm correspondant à la section transversale la plus faible de ladite partie dans n'importe quel plan contenant la direction radiale qui passe par le point d'intersection entre l'axe longitudinal du crampon et le plan tangentiel à la partie de la surface de roulement située autour du crampon; au moins un évidement (200) prévu dans la bande de roulement qui forme, sur la surface de roulement, un contour G, l'évidement étant associé au crampon du fait que la distance minimum D entre les contours C et G est inférieure ou égale à 1 cm; et pour chaque crampon, la somme des volumes Vn des évidements associés au crampon, exprimée en mm3, est supérieure ou égale au produit de la section transversale minimum Sm de la partie du crampon qui se projette depuis la bande de roulement, exprimée en mm2, multipliée par une longueur de 50 mm.
