Le tambour 1 de confection de pneumatique comporte un arbre central 2 supportantdeux plateaux 3 montés axialement coulissants sur l'arbre central 2, sur lesquels sont articulées une pluralité de bielles 4 coiffées par une enveloppe 5. Une membrane 6 est reliée à chacune des enveloppes 5. Un manchon 7 coiffe le tout et constitue la surface sur laquelle on construit progressivement le pneumatique.
