In order to compensate for the lack of endurance of the beads of a tyre with a low aspect ratio H/S, while improving the riding comfort, the radial carcass reinforcement (1) is anchored in each bead to a wire (2) from the outside to the inside while forming a turnover (10) that is substantially parallel to the generatrix of the seat of the rim (J) on which said bead is mounted.
