The invention concerns a tyre comprising a carcass reinforcement of at least one ply (12) of reinforcing elements mutually parallel in each ply and forming with the circumferential direction an angle .alpha. such that 60· <= .alpha. <= 90·, said ply being anchored in each bead to a bead anchoring element (2) and each bead being radially assembled to a running tread (9) via a sidewall including an inextensible reinforcing ring (3) and a profiled section (80) made of a rubber mixture axially inside the ply (12) said to be axially external and radially located between said anchoring element (2) and said sidewall ring (3).
Pneumatique comprenant une armature de carcasse d'au moins une nappe (12) d'éléments de renforcement parallèles entre eux dans chaque nappe et faisant avec la direction circonférentielle un angle .alpha. tel que 60~ <= .alpha. <= 90~, ladite nappe étant ancrée dans chaque bourrelet à un élément d'ancrage de bourrelet (2) et chaque bourrelet étant réuni radialement à une bande de roulement (9) par l'intermédiaire d'un flanc comprenant un anneau de renforcement inextensible (3) et un profilé (80) de mélange caoutchouteux axialement à l'intérieur de la nappe (12) dite axialement à l'extérieur et radialement située entre ledit élément d'ancrage (2) et ledit anneau de flanc (3).
