ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is described a new and improved U-bolt clamp saddle body formed from a single folded blank of sheet metal. The saddle body includes a pair of spaced parallel U-bolt leg receiving housings, a central web section having an arcuate lower edge extending between the housings and an integral tubular reinforcing rib extending from one housing to the other on the web and forming the top face thereof. The reinforcing rib is of triangular cross-section and has a planar top face between two of the vertices defined by the triangular cross-section. The third vertex defined by the triangular cross-section of the rib is located between the top face and the arcuate lower edge.
