B ABSTRACT The invention allows aqueous decaffination waste to be treated without the use of solvents to yield U.S.P. Quality Caffeine. The present use of a considerable quantity of activated carbon is also reduced to a minimum by using a relatively cheap insoluble oxide to adsorb colour and impurities.
