Ex vivo gene, protein or drug delivery to macroscopic quantities of various types of cells, cell clusters, or tissues using ultra low strength LSEFN strategies is disclosed in which the bioengineered cells and tissues are then systemically transfused, delivered or implanted into the various organs or tissue for the treatment of diseases. An LSEFN chamber is used which is shaped and sized to intimately contain the cells, cell clusters, or tissues in a transfusion chamber between opposing membrane encapsulated electrode arrays across which LSEFN pulses are applied.

L'invention concerne une méthode d'administration ex-vivo de gènes, de protéines ou de médicaments à des quantités macroscopiques de types variés de cellules, de groupements de cellules, ou de tissus, faisant appel à des stratégies LSEFN de force ultrafaible. Dans cette méthode, les cellules et les tissus produits par génie biologique sont ensuite systématiquement transfusés, administrés ou implantés dans des organes variés ou des tissus variés pour traiter des maladies. Une chambre LSEFN présente une taille et une forme permettant de contenir étroitement les cellules, les groupements cellulaires ou les tissus dans une chambre de transfusion entre des agencements d'électrodes encapsulés dans une membrane opposée dans lesquels on applique des impulsions LSEFN.
