This invention provides a thin laminate for modifying the appearance of a surface. The laminate includes a carrier film disposed against the lower surface of an indicia containing layer. The laminate may optionally include a bonding coat for attaching the laminate to a surface, at least one removable protective layer, and a release coating for facilitating the transfer of the laminate on a surface. The invention also provides methods and systems for modifying the appearance of a surface using the laminate.

Cette invention porte sur un laminé mince utile pour modifier l'apparence d'une surface. Ce laminé comprend un film de support placé contre la surface inférieure d'une couche présentant une marque. Le laminé peut éventuellement comprendre une couche de liaison permettant de fixer le laminé sur une surface, au moins une couche de protection détachable et un revêtement détachable pour faciliter le transfert du laminé sur une surface.
