ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A supersonic diffuser consisting of a ring with equally spaced channels shaped by inter-channel walls per- manently connected to at least one side wall of the diffuser. On the inlet side of the diffuser there are inter-channel walls converging towards the axis of the diffuser ring. On the side of the inside diameter, the diffuser has removable side walls which can be provided with sharply terminated partial vanes. And a method of manufacture of such super- sonic diffuser, wherein side convergent surfaces on inter- channel walls are made by two surfaces of revolution, counterprofiles and co-axial with the axis of the diffuser ring. The surfaces of revolution intersect close to the leading edges of inter-channel walls in the vicinity of the line combining the centres of cross dimensions of said walls by planes passing through the diffuser axis. The surfaces of inter-channel walls situated on the side of the channels, are convergent towards the diffuser axis.
