ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An electrode in both end portions of a piezoelectric vibra- tor is respectively divided in two, alternating current voltage is supplied to each electrode of both the end portions, whereby reversible circumferential progressive waves arise on the both the end portions or side portions of a stator consisting of the piezoelectric vibrator. A member to be driven is mounted on each one or both the end portions or the side portion of the stator.
