An ultrasonic measuring system is provided including a plurality of upstream and downstream ultrasonic transducers coupled to a multiflow pipeline and positioned along first and second cross-sectional portions of the multiflow pipeline. A transducer control system is coupled to the upstream and downstream ultrasonic transducers for selective activation of the transducers. In one embodiment, the ultrasonic measuring system is utilized to determine a flow velocity of a selected fluid in a multiflow pipeline by generating and detecting velocimetric ultrasonic pulses in the selected fluid. In another embodiment, the ultrasonic measuring system is utilized to determine film heights of fluids flowing within the pipeline.
La présente invention concerne un système de mesure par ultrasons comportant une pluralité de transducteurs ultrasonores amont et aval couplés à un pipeline multiflux et disposés le long d'une première et d'une seconde parties transversales du pipeline multiflux. Un système de commande des transducteurs couplé aux transducteurs ultrasonores amont et aval assure l'activation sélective des transducteurs. Selon une réalisation, le système de mesure par ultrasons sert à déterminer la vitesse de flux d'un fluide sélectionné dans le pipeline multiflux par génération et détection des impulsions ultrasonores vélocimétriques dans le fluide sélectionné. Selon une autre réalisation, le système de mesure par ultrasons sert à déterminer des épaisseurs de pellicules de fluides circulant à l'intérieur du pipeline.
