An ultrasonic medical treatment device has a casing (66), an elongate probe (40 or 56), a transducer assembly (62), a sheath (38) and at least one electrode member (50-53). The probe (40 or 56) is mounted to and extends from the casing (66) and has an axis (48) and a free end serving as an operative tip (78). The transducer assembly (62) is mounted to the casing (66) and operatively connected to the probe (40 or 56) for generating vibrations of at least one ultrasonic frequency in the probe (40 or 56). The sheath (38) surrounds the probe (40 or 56). The electrode member (50-53) is connectable to an RF voltage source and is mounted at least indirectly to the casing (66) so as to permit relative motion between the electrode member (50-53) and the probe (40 or 56).

L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement médical ultrasonore constitué d'un boîtier, d'une sonde oblongue, d'un assemblage transducteur, d'une gaine et d'au moins une électrode. La sonde, montée sur le boîtier, peut s'en écarter, possède un axe et une extrémité libre servant d'embout fonctionnel.
