The present invention discloses an ultrasonic therapy applicator comprising a housing (1) which houses an ultrasonic transducer (4) and has an opening on one end thereof, the opening being sealed by an energy conducting window (2), ultrasonic wave from the ultrasonic transducer being emitted outward through the energy conducting window (2). The housing has an air inlet (12) and an air outlet (11), so that a cooling cavity is formed between the air inlet and the air outlet, and then heat produced when the ultrasonic transducer is operated is discharged from the air outlet through the cooling cavity.
