An improved composition is disclosed containing at least one UV radiation absorbing agent and about 0.1% to about 50%, based on total weight nonvolatiles, latex particles having a particle size of from about 50 to about 500 nm. A method is also disclosed for improving the UV radiation absorption of a composition containing a UV radiation absorbing agent by adding from about 0.1% to about 50% of latex particles, based on total weight nonvolatiles, having a particle size of from about 50 to about 500 nm.
