The invention provides a photopolymerized pressure-sensitive adhesive which adheres firmly to all common surfaces and has an outstanding shear behavior, comprising the photopolymerization action product of a mixture comprising about 50 to about 94 parts by weight of acrylic acid ester of a nontertiary alkyl alcohol comprising 4-14 carbon atoms, about 5 to about 45 parts by weight of a carbamyloxyalkyl (meth)acrylate; about 1 to about 35 parts by weight of a monoethylenically polar copolymerizable monomer and about 0.1 to about 1 part photoinitiator.
