A suture anchor device (1) having an anchor member with outwardly extending wing members (64) and an actuating wedge member (8). The suture anchor device is inserted into a bore hole in a bone as part of an orthopedic surgical procedure wherein soft tissue such as a tendon or ligament is attached to the surface of the bone. The wing members are spread outwardly by the wedge member to lock the suture anchor device in the bone. The suture anchor device has similar utility in soft tissue applications.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'ancrage de suture (1) comprenant un élément d'ancrage pourvu d'ailes (64) s'écartant vers l'extérieur et d'une bague d'actionnement (8). Le dispositif présenté est introduit dans un trou perçé dans un os, lors d'une opération chirurgicale orthopédique consistant à fixer une partie en tissu mou, telle qu'un tendon ou un ligament, à la surface de l'os. Lesdites ailes sont écartées vers l'extérieur par la bague d'actionnement et verrouillent ainsi le dispositif d'ancrage dans l'os. Ce dispositif peut être utilisé de façon similaire lors d'opérations réalisées sur des tissus mous.
