Such underwater pump is substantially chara- cterized by disposing flow separating means in a circular opening formed in an end plate of a perforated strainer and by mounting such flow separating means integrally and contiguously on the upper end of the agitator which is mounted on the lower extension of the output shaft of a motor. -1-
