Abstract of the Disclosure A uniaxially stretched product of crystalline polyolefins having a high tensile strength and a superior flexibility and suitable as a raw material monofilament for ropes, fabrics, nets, braids, string, bands etc. can be provided by extruding a melted crystalline polyolefin: cooling and solidifying the extrudate; stretching the solidified material to 12 - 20 times the original length in a uniaxial direction, in two or more stages, on heating; and pressing the resulting stretched material twice or more times by means of rollers.
